Internal Coaching SIG - The growth of Internal Coaching at Bettys and Taylors Group - 22nd May 2024

During this meeting, you will hear how the internal coaching scheme at Bettys and Tyalors Group has been developed, which has been established for more than ten years.

Carole-Ann and Kate will be sharing their story of how their involvement has been instrumental in developing and stewarding the scheme to where it is now, and will share what this has taken from the coaches and the business to develop this scheme into a key developmental initiative in Bettys & Taylors Group.

Carole-Ann Jones
Carole-Ann brings a wealth of experience as a senior leader in HR and People Development roles in international companies and family businesses. Having worked in both cross functional and intercultural teams on major transformational projects for over a decade in Unilever, she has a deep understanding of group and team dynamics.

Her experience, across a wide range of sectors, includes developing strategic, agile leaders, nurturing high performance teams and consulting on significant culture change initiatives such as the design, development and implementation of internal coach schemes.

Kate Donnelly
Kate has worked at Bettys & Taylors Group for over ten years, having joined as a Graduate Trainee in HR. After discovering a passion for learning & development during the graduate programme, Kate moved into the Learning & Development team, and is currently Learning & Development Partner, with a core responsibility for managing and developing L&D and OD initiatives across the Group and facilitating team development.

She has been involved in the ongoing support and development of Bettys & Taylors Group’s internal coaching scheme since 2014. Although not a coach herself, Kate has considerable experience of managing and developing an internal coaching scheme.
