North West Network - Art and the Art of Coaching

An exploration of the use of art to open up potential and embrace possibilities.

Art has been used as a form of expression since the beginning of mankind. In this interactive session we will explore how art and creativity can enrich our coaching conversations. You don’t need to be a Van Gogh or Constable to take part; it is as much about the process as the product.

Using a series of case studies, we will examine how the different sides of our brain work and how, through our creations, we are able to access deeper levels of insight and meaning; creating transformational changes for ourselves and our clients.

From the comfort of our own homes, we will each create a piece of artwork with whatever we have available, to illustrate the coaching process and directly experience the benefits it can give.

You will need something that you can create with. This could be as simple as pencil and paper or colouring pens, paint, coloured paper, glue, modelling clay or whatever you can easily lay your hands on.

Our Facilitator - Jen Grange

Jen combines traditional coaching methods with the additional support of mindfulness and therapies such as EFT and Kinetic Shift; working with the subconscious mind and helping you to overcome self-limiting beliefs or blocks to success, then supporting you to create your path forwards.
Jen often uses art in her coaching techniques, in particular natural art, and finds it a wonderful medium for exploring the places we can’t always reach with words. Being creative can bring a sense of calm and relaxation, further opening up our potential to explore and embrace possibilities.
Whilst she fosters many nurturing techniques, as an Army officer for 7 years, she’s not afraid to challenge your thinking and has the tenacity and tools to support you to confidently navigate the way to your goals. Jen provides 1:1 and group coaching and also facilitates coaching training for groups and individuals.
