National Mentoring Conference - Wales Regional Network
Following the successful launch of the Excellence in Mentoring Awards in January, Business Wales will celebrate National Mentoring Day 2017 by hosting the first ever Pan-Wales Mentoring Conference. The conference will bring together mentors, mentees and stakeholders, connected with business, academic and personal mentoring and will provide opportunities for networking and development. Keynote speeches throughout the day will include talks on “The Power of Mentoring”, delivered by Rita Symons from the European Mentoring and Coaching Council UK and “The Mentoring Journey” by Beverley Jones from Awaken Coaching.
The event, which will launch the 2018 Excellence in Mentoring Awards, will include breakout sessions focusing on topics such as how to make the most of your mentoring relationship, overcoming barriers, and will also provide an opportunity to be part of the development of the first Mentoring Charter for Wales.
Delegates will also be able to participate in a Q&A session with expert high-profile panelists, including representatives from the EMCC UK, Business Wales, Chwarae Teg, Remploy, Glyndwr University and Avenue Consulting.
