This virtual group is open to all EMCC UK members and non-members who are currently serving, or have served, in the Armed Forces and now work in the Coaching & Mentoring Sector. The intent is to meet bi-monthly with guest speakers, networking opportunities, latest thoughts on coaching and mentoring techniques, accreditation, CPD and aims to build a specific community with shared experiences and nuances of language.

As a Veteran, from serving as a Royal Air Force Regiment Infantry Soldier for nearly 12 years, and with two tours of Afghanistan, he finished in the Royal Air Force in December 2019 through role related medical reasons. 

During the last 5 years of his service, he was shown a route that changed his life and helped him deal with things he had seen whilst serving and with life in general.  With courses in NLP, Hypnosis, CBT and ILM Coaching and Mentoring being the main reasons where he is today and why he has the mindset that he has. Thanks to these opportunities he realized how academic he was and why he was able to earn his Private Pilot License; a 35yr dream. All things he was always told he couldn’t be or achieve. 

The Coaching and Mentoring, through the ILM program at RAF Cosford, has been paramount in aiding him develop the tools to help other members of the Armed Forces, in their transition from Military to Civilian, be congruent and with their own direction.

Since leaving the Military full time he has pushed his Human Performance Coaching Business, although with COVID-19 happening within a couple of months of leaving, the business start-up had proved taxing.   Through great leadership and foresight from his then Boss and colleagues, he was extremely excited to become a reservist, teaching and aiding on RAF Cosford’s Staff Development Programme. This has helped hugely with satisfying his needs to be in a team environment and be involved in a subject that is fascinating to him.
