North West Network - WEBINAR - COACHING OURSELVES AS COACHES FIRST

This WEBINAR will explore ideas and approaches for self-reflection as an essential element of good practice.

The EMCC and AoC Code of Ethics expect that members support their learning and ongoing professional development by engaging in regular reflective practice.  Also that members reflect regularly on their client work and coaching and mentoring practice and their professional and personal learning and development.

I wonder what this means in practice for each of us?

In this interactive and experiential session, Nicki will offer a definition for self-reflection and explore why this is critical to our work as coaches.  She will be asking how we practice self-reflection currently,  what are some of the approaches we take that are working well for us, what are the things about self- reflection we find difficult or more challenging? And what difference has self-reflection made to who we are as coaches?

In a spirit of shared learning, you’re invited to bring along examples of reflective practice you use currently or have used in the past.  It could be a template, a publication, a framework, creative tool or technique.  All will be useful and helpful!
