Thames Valley relaunch: How coaching and mentoring can support teams through the pandemic

We are delighted to have Professor David Clutterbuck to support the relaunch of the Thames Valley Network. The event will be held online and is open to all.

I am delighted to support the re-launch of the Thames Valley Network and to welcome Professor David Clutterbuck, who needs very little introduction. Professor David Clutterbuck introduced supported mentoring to Europe in the early 1980s, co-founded the European Mentoring & Coaching Council, and is the author of 70 books on coaching, mentoring, leadership and other management themes.

Join us for this CPD event as David explores the role of coaching and mentoring in supporting teams through the Covid crisis.

When normal stops, teams (and coaches) can choose between two alternatives. Scrabble desperately to get back to where things were; or reflect and explore how to emerge from crisis stronger. This is a space in which coaches and mentors can contribute at much greater depth and breadth, to support team leaders and their teams.

Coaches, who are clear about this role, are increasingly  busy. David will explore a practical model to help a team reassess and move from survival to revival and thrival. He will also explore the complex issue of survivor syndrome – how to overcome the ‘collective depression’ that comes from awareness of all those empty desks.

Join from 5.45pm for a 6pm start. The session will run for about 90 minutes, with an opportunity at the end for Thames Valley members to stay online and explore ideas for future network events.

Please register below, and a Zoom link will be sent out a week before the event and the day before the event. If you are a member, you will need to sign in to your account to register. If you are not a member, please create a temporary account in order to register.

We look forward to seeing you online on the day.
