Christopher McLaverty is a qualified executive coach, management consultant and educator. He is currently the interim CEO of a consulting firm specialising in diversity, equality and inclusion. He has held several senior positions, both as an HR practitioner and as a consultant. He has designed and led mentoring programmes for energy companies, banks and professional services firms.

As a coach, Christopher specialises in succession and career transition, building effective teams and conflict resolution. He also helps leaders create and lead effective cross-cultural teams and work environments. He is a mentor for MSc students completing their studies on organisation behaviour for a London-based university.

Christopher has a Masters in Coaching, Consulting and Change from INSEAD (2010), and a Doctorate in Education from the University of Pennsylvania (2017). His research into how senior executives approach ethical dilemmas has been published in the Harvard Business Review (2016).

Christopher is Irish and has worked for most of his career in the UK, with assignments in the USA, Guyana and Bahrain.

He is a Governor for the University of West London. Christopher originally trained as an ethnographer and anthropologist, and is a keen traveller and collector, with a passion for exploring the living cultures and archaeology of indigenous America.
