As the VUCA world becomes an accepted reality and with a backdrop that anybody under the age of 26 has only know recession, what do we as Coaches or Mentors need to bring to the conversation?
This workshop will explore what are the barriers at play, what do people need from Mentoring and as individuals what do we, as mentors, need to bring to the landscape to make a difference?
Working as a Coach and Mentor within the Fire Service and the Education System John will share his thoughts and observations and the changes he has noticed having been a Mentor for over 20 years. He will also invite us to share our own experiences and insights.
About the Presenter : John Parkinson
John’s role as Coach and Mentor is driven by a desire to enable individuals, particularly the young, to unlock their potential and raise their aspirations. With a focus on goals and personal development, John’s practical approach, inspired by his own experiences, has led him to offer a solution-focussed approach to his practice. His experience within the Fire Service allows him to deliver an experiential methodology to his practice to both support and challenge the clients’ thinking.

This CPD event is open to all coaches and mentors with an interest in professional development, simply register your interest and book your place.

Tea / coffee and an opportunity to network will be available from 5.30pm. The workshop will start at 6.00pm.
