About the Fountain Centre

The Fountain Centre is an independent charity that supports anyone impacted by cancer under the medical care of St Luke’s Cancer Centre covering 1.3 million people across Surrey, Sussex and Hampshire. As a regional out-patients service St Luke’s provides chemotherapy, radiotherapy and brachytherapy with a 36-bed inpatient ward and a teenage cancer unit. The charity is located within the grounds of the hospital and provides supportive services such access to information, delivering complementary therapies and providing emotional support through counselling and coaching. In addition, there is also a family service supporting children of patients.

All these services are provided either 1:1 or as part of a group to support holistic care for patients and families with a cancer diagnosis. The centre supports clients through all stages of the cancer journey that include diagnosis, treatment, living with and beyond cancer. This also includes those who are living with secondary cancers, metastatic disease or during palliative and end of life care.
