East Midlands Virtual Network Event: Building Client’s Resilience - with Liam Stapleton - Open to all

The East Midlands Network are presenting an interactive workshop exploring a model for helping clients build their resilience and avoid burnout, and techniques for making online learning more interactive.

We’ve lived through unprecedented times in the last twelve months, and this has taken up a lot of cognitive bandwidth for many people, reducing their capacity to cope. Many of our clients are supporting their teams and colleagues through this difficult time but may be struggling themselves. Maintaining the robust façade is taking many to the point where their personal resources are almost depleted.

Our 7POINT PLAN provide seven areas for focus during conversations with clients, to help them think about how they can replenish their resources and find the strength and resilience to bounce forward.

During these difficult times, learning and development professionals have not been immune from the need to change. Moving from the “real” environment to a virtual one has not been easy but working in this virtual environment is here to stay, at least for some of our work.

This workshop will take participants through the 7POINT PLAN and help them discover how it could be used to support clients. It will be highly interactive and showcase some techniques for introducing more interaction into online group sessions.
