Building your Coaching Business Session 2 of 6 - Free for Members - 31st January 2022

Building a successful Coaching Business is a challenge in its' own right!  We all train to become professional and qualified coaches, mentors and supervisors, but when it comes to the challenge of setting up and building our own successful business, we may well need a helping hand. The EMCC is here to help support you to do just that.

 

We propose that the 6 key areas that anyone setting up their own business may need, would involve identifying your own USP;  finding your clients; selling yourself; demonstrating ROI ; creating a financially successful coaching business and Using LinkedIn to help promote your business. With this in mind, we are offering 6 practical workshops aimed at these crucial areas.  Join us in this Road to Discovery, and help us all learn and share more around these six topics.

The five remaining interactive zoom sessions will include: 

Session 2 - Finding Your Clients -31st January - Please note that this has a later start time of 6.00 pm

Session 3 - Selling yourself - 7th February

Session 4 - Demonstrating ROI -28th February

Session 5 -How to find clients who can - and will - pay - 7th March

Session 6 -Using LinkedIn to help promote you and your business - 14th March

Each session will start promptly at 5.30 pm and run for an hour and a half, so please arrive 10 minutes early to settle in. 

The Building Your Coaching Business series is part of  EMCC UK’s efforts to support its members and promote Knowledge Exchange around how to build your own coaching business. It is a free initiative for members, whose sole purpose is to support members with the challenges they are currently facing in this challenging economic environment.

This second session will be led by Clare Barnett, Director of Synergia Coaching, and joint coordinator of the West Midlands EMCC UK Network.

This session will outline the key steps in finding your clients.

The webinar will help you to identify:

- Where do your customers hang out?
- How can you make contact with them?
- What do you need to know about them?
- What do they need to know about you?
- Developing your 30 second opening gambit
 
Clare's Bio :

Clare began her career in HR, and worked across many different industry sectors and through the hierarchy, before setting up her own business, Synergia, in 2003. Clare is an experienced coach, mentor and supervisor, with Master Practitioner status from the EMCC, as well as being a Fellow of the CIPD. 

During the 18 years of running her own business she has had many ups and downs, and thinking about who her clients are, and where to find them, has been an interesting challenge!  

We will not be recording the session so please only register if you are able to attend as places are limited.

Registration

Whilst this event is free for members we also have a small number of non-member spaces available for £12.50 + VAT.
