The aim of the Health & Wellbeing special interest group is to develop the safe practice of health and wellbeing for coaches and mentors, their clients, organisations and communities.

Who is the group for?

The group is for anyone interested in health and wellbeing, or who works in the area of health and wellbeing as a practitioner.

Information and meetings

The group meets online every month, with informal or peer networking or coaching, CPD, guest speakers, panel discussions, and developing resources for good practice. The group also supports the EMCC UK Board to represent members in the development of coaching in health and wellbeing.

The lead coordinators

Andrew Parson

Andrew Parsons – Andrew is a health, wellness and executive ENCC accredited coach (master practitioner), CNHC registered hypnotherapist, emotional freedom techniques practitioner and author. He is a member of the Global Wellness Institute coaching initiative.

Andrew has wide experience that includes leading scientific and business innovation that builds on his PhD in physiological sciences and MSc in psychology. He has a particular interest in the science of wellness and empowerment. His work often involves supporting people to successfully navigate change and uncertainty. He was one of the founders of a cancer coaching services for patients and their families in the NHS.

Marian Rosefield

Marian Rosefield – Marian is the EMCC UK Deputy Director of Coaching Practice – Knowledge Exchange, is an EMCC accredited coach (senior practitioner), coaching supervisor, positive psychology practitioner, facilitator, trainer, reiki master and MHFA.

Since 2001, Marian has been creating an increasingly evidence-based practice, offering a flexible, reflective, safe and appreciative space, with compassion and a love of learning underpinning her work. Building on her masters in applied positive psychology and coaching psychology, she brings the science of wellbeing to life with humour and curiosity, and has a particular interest in helping coaches to avoid, navigate and recover from compassion fatigue and burnout.
