Higher Education special interest group

The new Higher Education special interest group is launching on 26 January.

Our hope is that the meetings will provide a helpful forum to connect a wide array of people who believe in the importance of mentoring and coaching as a way to support staff and students in higher education.

A return to ‘normal’ is not what the higher education sector needs. We need to imagine new ways of building trust and purpose as we lead and navigate organisations and systems. If there is one thing we have learned over the past couple of challenging years of unprecedented change, it’s that everyone needs a network of others who provide care and compassion, as well as challenge and courage. Mentoring and coaching often provides these services at an individual level.

In turn, we hope this group will provide a safe place and a time to slow down for reflection that then helps us speed up for action to influence positive change.
