Higher Education special interest group

Our group provides a helpful forum to connect a wide array of people who believe in the importance of mentoring and coaching as a way to support staff and students in higher education.

A return to ‘normal’ is not what the higher education sector needs. We need to imagine new ways of building trust and purpose as we lead and navigate organisations and systems. If there is one thing we have learned over the past couple of challenging years of unprecedented change, it’s that everyone needs a network of others who provide care and compassion, as well as challenge and courage. Mentoring and coaching often provide these services at an individual level.

Who is the group for?

Individuals interested in coaching and mentoring in higher education.

Why join the group?

The group provides a safe place and time to share good practices of coaching and mentoring in higher education, as well as slow down and reflect on how to influence positive change.
