Which membership is right for you?

We have four individual membership categories so that you can select the membership which is right for you and that best matches your experience, expertise and extent of your practice. See below for a brief description of each category. Further down the page is a guide to help you to map your coaching and mentoring capability to decide the category for you. Once you have made your selection; click on the appropriate membership category listed in the box on the right of this page. This will tell you more about the membership benefits, the price and take you to the joining application form.

Please note that non-UK residents will need to join the EMCC organisation within their own country.  Details of organisations outside of the UK can be found on the EMCC Global website here.

Affiliate Membership

Affiliate Membership is for newcomers to coaching and mentoring. It is the perfect starting point for those interested in finding out more about coaching and mentoring, or those currently in training.

Associate Membership

Associate Membership is for 'Practitioners'. 
As an Associate Member you will have a coaching and/or mentoring qualification up to a maximum of Practitioner level, and/or, you are an accredited (EMCC EIA or equivalent) Practitioner.

Professional Membership

Professional Membership is for 'Senior Practitioners'. 
As a Professional Member you will have a coaching and/or mentoring qualification at 'Senior Practitioner' or higher level, and/or, you are an accredited (EMCC EIA or equivalent) 'Senior Practitioner'.

Master Membership

Master Membership is for 'Master Practitioners'.
As a Master Member you will have a coaching and/or mentoring qualification at 'Master Practitioner' level, and/or, you are an accredited (EMCC EIA or equivalent) 'Master Practitioner'.

We have compiled a simple table to help you self-select the membership category which is best for you. Everyone's mentoring and coaching journey follows a unique path, please appreciate that we cannot cover every eventuality on our table. It is intended to guide your selection and not as a checklist. For example: you may have a comparable qualification to one listed, or have rich and extensive experience.

Membership Referral Scheme

Did you know that you can get £20.00 off the price of your membership fee if you are referred by an existing member?

The member will provide you with a discount code to use along with their membership number which you enter in the 'shop' section when you sign-up online for membership.

Please note that this isn't available if you have held an EMCC membership in the past, and cannot be used with any other promotional offers.

It can only be redeemed against individual memberships, it doesn't apply to organisation memberships.

Our organisation membership provides a clear signal to your employees, business partners and customers that you are committed to delivering the highest standards of professionalism and ethics. You receive a discounted membership for your employees (or students) and you are able to access quality CPD events for your organisation from our portfolio. International Journal

Access to the International Journal is available through the EMCC Global website. To request access, when setting up your members profile, please ensure that you select the appropriate communication preferences to include the International Journal in your Members Profile under the Preferences tab.  Access to EMCC Global resources will normally be granted within 14 days of your request.
