At this SIG meeting we will be using Appreciative Inquiry which will provide an opportunity for members to share one or two aspects of their internal coaching that they are most proud of.
You may wish to share something about the way it is organised, the process, the way the community of internal coaches operate, the coaching offer itself, the approach the organisation takes to utilising coaches etc etc etc.
This sharing of what we appreciate will enable us to compile an account of what we value most about internal coaching and use these insights to enhance our internal coaching provision.
Event Organiser
Tracy Ellis
Tracy is an experienced OD, L&D and HR Professional with special interest in leadership development and coaching.
She currently works at the University of Liverpool as an OD specialist as well as running her own leadership development consultancy. She was previously a Research Fellow in Leadership at the University of Bolton and spent 15 years as a Lecturer in the Business School at Salford University. Prior to moving into Higher Education she worked as a HR Manager at Salford Royal Hospital, the Greater Manchester Ambulance Service and Automotive Products Ltd.
She is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, ILM Authorised Trainer, Professional Member of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council. She is CIPD qualified, has a PG Cert in Teaching and an ILM Level 5 Coaching Qualification.
At the University of Liverpool she provides a consultancy service to the organisation to support leadership growth and capability, leads on the development offer for professional services, leads the universities mediation service, delivers the Level 5 Coaching Programme, is responsible for developing a coaching culture within the university and implementation of an internal coaching bank.
External work involves leading the North West Higher Education Coaches’ Network and Co-Chair for the North-West Staff Development Network for Higher Education.

This group is free to EMCC UK members and, as an introductory offer, free to non-members for the first three sessions and then £20.83 + VAT thereafter.
