2024 Spotlight Series - Five Key Messages from Neurodiversity Coaching - 25th March 2024

Following the publication of Neurodiversity Coaching in December 2023, join one of its authors for an interactive discussion on five key messages from the book.

This event will commence with a presentation about five key messages regarding neurodiversity coaching relevant to all coaches and supervisors who are interested in, or already working in this space.

Almuth and Nancy argue in their book, Neurodiversity Coaching, that many principles of sound coaching psychology research and practice are applicable, but that specialist knowledge and careful management of boundaries, is essential.

We will then break out into small groups, and ask participants (within the bounds of confidentiality of course) to share their greatest joys and some of the challenges of working with neurodivergent coachees and clients, or what they anticipate these issues might be.

We will close with sharing of insights and opportunity for Q&A.

Guest Speaker
Almuth is a Professor of Organisational Psychology at Birkbeck University of London in the School of Psychological Sciences. She co-directs the Centre for Neurodiversity Research at Work (C4NDRAW) with Dr Nancy Doyle. Almuth is committed to making the world of work a happier and more inclusive place and has been researching coaching for over a decade. Nancy and Almuth's book on Neurodiversity Coaching was published in December 2023. www.lead-north.co.uk.
