Third Sector Coaching & Mentoring Forum

By Katharine St John-Brooks
Chair, EMCC UK Third Sector Coaching & Mentoring Forum

The Third Sector Forum was launched in October 2016. It meets four times a year – in January, April, July and October – and is open to any coach, mentor, sponsor, L&D or HR specialist employed in the Third Sector with a responsibility for coaching and mentoring.

Membership of EMCC, either individual membership or corporate membership, is not a requirement of entry to the Forum though there is an expectation that members will consider joining. The Forum currently meets in London but I would be keen to help volunteers from other parts of the country to set up additional third sector fora.

Meetings normally last for two hours and are hosted by Forum members. Agenda topics for future meetings are chosen by Forum members. External speakers are often provided to introduce the topic followed by opportunities to share experience and practice and address issues brought up by members.

If you would like to be added to the circulation list to receive information about forthcoming Forum meetings, please do get in touch with me at working.solutions@btinternet.com.

Members' Stories
Stand out benefits of EMCC membership for me are the Coaching Agreement, the excellent networking opportunities that regional events provide, access to the International Journal of Coaching and excellent European links.
