Volunteers support our Large Organisation member programme
Our Large Organisation programme provides every EMCC UK Large Organisation member and corporate partner with a volunteer Liaison Person, known as their LOLP (Large Organisation Liaison Person).
The LOLP role involves a once-a-year face-to-face discussion with the Large Organisation member, to review their experience and plan the following year, and contact by phone and email over the remainder of the year to keep in touch and help them make good use of their member benefits. Each LOLP is inducted into the programme to ensure they are clear about the role and responsibilities. It amounts to about one to two days of volunteering spread over the year.
One of the benefits for Large Organisations and corporate partners is a free cpd event, provided for their coaches and mentors at their premises by an EMCC volunteer. These events are two hours in duration aimed at providing valuable learning for in-house coaches and mentors.
We are continuously improving our offer to our members and seek volunteers to be LOLPs as well as experienced practitioners to provide cpd events – the events are quality checked before being offered to our LO members and partners.
